surprise on my 31st
the other day, my team surprised me with a birthday party - complete with the balloons, the special guests (Leng, Dalton and Mitch), a song number, a video greeting, an acoustic band (YES! Can you believe it?), food (sobrang sarap!), and more importantly, they surprised me with so much love, respect and fondness i never felt before. thank God i’m no longer that much of a crybaby - if i was, sobrang panget na iyak ang makikita ng agents ko. (well, nagawa ko na pala yun noon… hehehe).
just like what i’ve told them, no one has ever given me a surprise birthday party before and i can never thank them enough for that special day. they have broken my years and years of sad birthdays. my soul is uplifted because of them. i realized that everything that i worked for the past few months really paid off.
now i know what the teachers feel when they see their students finally graduate.
i am proud that they’re on my team.
i am glad. i am blessed.
